It's the human stories that matter, not the label or the diagnostic that's attached. Every symptom of trauma is at the top of the iceberg of the pain suffered. Allowing others to share their stories of pain without prejudice, judgment, or pity provides healing, and you don't need to be a therapist for that. Make space for people in your life to sit with their messes while they try to figure it out. Problems shared are problems half. You don't need a degree for that. You just need empathy and compassion for others.
